Lanteris Space LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, is hiring an Advanced Engineering Assistant based in Palo Alto, CA. You will assemble, test and support electrical cables, harnesses and EGSE equipment for inter-rack connectivity.

Responsibilities include using technical documents to test EGSE, preparing detailed reports, providing sustaining technical support, and offering offsite test support for launch operations.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent and 2 year degree or 2 years’ experience as an electrical technician.

Lanteris Space LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Intuitive Machines, is hiring an Advanced Engineering Assistant. This role is based in our Palo Alto, CA office.

In this role, you will provide assembly test and support within the Electrical Aerospace Ground Equipment (EAGE) section. Primary responsibilities will be for cable, harness and EGSE assembly, test and maintenance to electronic ground support equipment.

Intuitive Machines is a leading space infrastructure company that builds spacecraft, connects networks, and operates infrastructure-as-a-service for commercial, civil, and national security customers. With a proven track record across the space domain, the Company, through organic growth and portfolio expansion, has built over 300 spacecraft, delivered over 260 kilograms of payload to the lunar surface, and provided precision navigation expertise that has guided spacecraft across our solar system.

Job Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and support electrical cables and harnesses for inter-rack connectivity and connectivity between racks and spacecraft. Participates in the research and troubleshooting activity and aid in the development and support of EAGE related systems and interconnectivity projects.
• Use technical documents, manuals and test procedures to test EGSE equipment.
• Provide sustaining technical support for EAGE equipment, primarily in assembly, test and delivery of cabling and equipment.
• Performs testing, assembly and repairs to EGSE equipment.
• Prepares detailed technical reports on work performed.
• Support Engineering in the test and troubleshooting new or existing support equipment.
• Provide offsite support to launch and test operations that use EAGE provided test equipment.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in the Aerospace industry, with a strong background in electrical engineering theory and concepts.
• High School education or equivalent and 2 year degree or 2 years’ experience as an electrical technician.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must have a high proficiency in electrical theory as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous experience with Teamcenter software is desirable.
• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical items associated with Electrical Aerospace Ground Equipment manufacturing desirable.
• Proficient with basic electronic measurement tools including power supplies, oscilloscopes, DVM’s and signal generators.
• Proficient with Microsoft OS based instrumentation controllers, their configuration and operation.
• Proficient with commonly used PC computer programs.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

• The base pay for this position within California is: $35.36 - $58.94 hourly.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
