Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an Advanced Endoscopy Technician II for the Digestive Health Institute in Downtown Orlando. You will support physicians during advanced GI procedures, prepare rooms and equipment, and assist with research and teaching activities.

The role requires 3 years of clinical experience, solid scope reprocessing skills, and current BLS certification. Availability for after-hours and weekend coverage is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years of clinical experience required.
• Solid experience with scope reprocessing required.
• Experience with advanced endoscopy procedures preferred.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the endoscopist during complex procedures (ERCP, EUS, ESD, EMR).
• Sets up cautery settings and prepares supplies for interventional cases.
• Transports and prepares procedural suites and monitors patient status.
• Maintains endoscopic equipment and participates in specimen handling.
• Provides endoscopic support in emergencies and participates in teaching.
