Job summary

Novant Health seeks an Advanced EMT to provide high quality patient care and safe medical transport in a non-emergent setting. The role requires completing an Advanced EMT program and holding the NC Advanced EMT license with a clean driving record.

You will coordinate patient care within an interdisciplinary team, follow approved treatment protocols, and maintain confidentiality of sensitive materials in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an approved Advanced EMT program (EMT-Intermediate prior to 2017) required.
• Current North Carolina Advanced EMT license (EMT-Intermediate prior to 2017) required.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS and ITLS or PHTLS preferred.
• Two years licensed driving experience preferred.
• Must be 19+ with zero points on driving record.
• Annual EVO education required to drive during emergencies.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and meet insurance requirements.
