The MaineHealth Emergency Medical Services base in Norway, ME is seeking an Advanced EMT for per diem role with rotating shifts. You will provide basic life support and select ALS skills during prehospital and interfacility transport, following state protocols and departmental guidelines.

Responsibilities include collaboration with ER staff and maintaining licensure such as Advanced EMT, BLS, and AVOC within required timelines.

Formación

• Completion of Advanced EMT course, or equivalent.
• Current Advanced EMT license (state-specific) required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; AVOC within 6 months.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsabilidades

• Provide basic life support with select ALS skills during prehospital and interfacility transport as per state protocols.
• Collaborate with ER staff and EMS teams to deliver patient care.
• Adhere to departmental guidelines and drive safely per policy.
