Job summary

Community Ambulance Muscogee County in Columbus, GA is seeking a Part-time Advanced Emergency Medical Technician to join a mission-driven team delivering high-level prehospital care. You will arrive for scheduled shifts, assess patients, provide treatment per GA protocols, and coordinate with receiving facilities.

Ideal candidates will hold AEMT credentials and be prepared to handle disaster and multi-casualty events while maintaining clear documentation and vehicle readiness.

Qualifications

• Georgia EMS licensure at AEMT level.
• Experience in prehospital emergency care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessment and administer treatment per the Georgia Scope of Practice for EMS Personnel at the AEMT level.
• Assist crew in safely lifting, packaging, moving and transporting patients to ensure optimum patient care.
• Provide safe and efficient transport of patients while monitoring and continuing care within scope of practice.
• Maintain two-way communication with CMED and ensure all required documentation is completed prior to end of shift.
• Be prepared to respond to disaster and mass-casualty situations and work in austere conditions.
