Position Details
  • Location: US:PA:Mechanicsburg
  • Work Type: Full Time
  • FTE: 1.00
  • Shift: Varied (12-hour days or nights)
  • Additional Compensation: Evening Shift Differential $2.00/hour, Night Shift Differential $2.50/hour
Summary of Responsibilities

Responsible for responding to emergencies, assessing patients, providing treatment according to PA DOH Basic & Advanced EMT standards, transporting patients, and assisting ALS providers. Also includes routine non-emergency transports with proper documentation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • CPR/AED certified (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
  • Current or eligible for PA Advanced EMT certification
  • Valid Driver's License or eligibility for PA driver's license
  • PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start
  • HazMat and NIMS training within 30 days
  • Medical Command certification within 90 days
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 6 months EMT experience
