Job summary

MaineHealth Emergency Medical Services in Norway, ME is seeking a Per Diem Advanced EMT to join a 24/7 EMS operation that serves nine towns and coordinates closely with MaineHealth Stephens Hospital. The role requires completion of Advanced EMT course, state licensure, a valid driver's license, and BLS.

AVOC certification must be obtained within six months; strong basic life support skills are essential. You will work 12- or 24-hour shifts with a rotating schedule and opportunities for downtime,

Qualifications

• Education: Completion of Advanced EMT course, or equivalent.
• License/Certifications: Current Advanced EMT license; valid driver's license.
• BLS certification required; AVOC within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• The Advanced EMT role provides BLS and select ALS skills for pre-hospital and interfacility transport.
