ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) to join our growing healthcare team, delivering exceptional urgent care to patients across New England. This role provides an exciting opportunity for AEMTs to further develop their clinical skills while working closely with providers and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care. As an AEMT, you will play a vital role in a collaborative environment that emphasizes professional growth, teamwork, and making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Responsibilities include engaging with patients professionally, explaining prescribed medications, offering guidance on lifestyle modifications, conducting preliminary evaluations to triage patients, performing basic clinical procedures, documenting patient information accurately, administering medications under supervision, collaborating with clinical team members, and supporting training of new team members. Required availability includes working 12-hour shifts with options for full-time, part-time, or per diem schedules, including weekends and holidays, and flexibility to travel within a one-hour distance for work or training. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, state licensure as an AEMT, national certification preferred, and American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification. The role requires compassion, effective communication, trustworthiness, teamwork, and technical proficiency. Bonus qualifications include 1-2 years of AEMT experience and patient triage experience in urgent care or emergency departments.
