Job summary

Parsons is seeking an exceptionally talented Embedded Systems Reverse Engineer to join our Federal Solutions team in the Huntsville area. You will analyze embedded software, firmware and hardware, work directly with customers, and deliver solutions that support critical missions. You will reverse engineer systems, draft detailed reports, and collaborate across engineering teams.

A U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance is required, with potential to obtain TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with embedded processor assembly languages (ARM, TI DSP).
• Experience with reverse engineering and binary analysis tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, radare2, Binary Ninja).
• Understanding of SPI, I2C, UART and related embedded interfaces.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze embedded systems software, firmware and hardware to characterize systems and determine functionality.
• Collaborate with customers and technical teams to understand mission requirements and develop solutions.
• Reverse engineer embedded systems and solve complex problems via methodical analysis.
• Use hardware and software techniques to identify system behavior, interfaces, and functionality.
• Draft clear technical reports describing hardware, firmware, software and communications features.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams and independently execute tasks as required.
