Position Description & Qualifications

Serco is seeking an Advanced Electronic Warfare SME to join our Team; Hybrid work is an option! The Advanced Electronic Warfare SME will be a part of the Advanced Solutions Group (ASG) Mission Support Operations (MSO) Directorate. ASG MSO provides subject matter expertise, solutions, and support to a wide range of DoD (Air & Space Force, Navy, Army, Missile Defense Agency) and non-DoD (DHS, HHS) government customers. Within DoD, you will bridge high-end tactical execution and advanced engineering to shape next-generation survivability, electronic attack, and electronic protection capabilities against modern integrated air defenses. The Advanced Electronic Warfare SME will join ASG MSO’s highly qualified interdisciplinary consultants delivering high quality solutions to complex issues for a variety of federal civilian and defense customers. The SME will be a full-time employee who will provide a full range of Electronic Warfare, operations, and cyber expertise. You will be expected to support a wide variety of projects including working for and with a variety of DoD, Federal, and corporate customers. You will interface with customers on a regular basis to develop project requirements, collaborate and work on integrated teams, and to brief, defend, and support project results. Must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment with a flexible work schedule supporting multiple customers. You will work in close collaboration with senior government and commercial customers providing consultation, recommendations, and support. You must also have excellent listening as well as oral and written communication skills and be able to collaborate with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To The Following
  • Serve as an Advanced Electronic Warfare subject matter expert, acts as the elite technical and tactical advisor for electromagnetic spectrum operations
  • Provide Electronic Warfare expertise for cyber resilience and joint exercise planning and execution
  • Plan and execute mission-based cyber risks assessments and cyber-attack path analysis
  • Contribute to the development of a variety of technical documents requiring EW best practices and Spectrum Warfare management
  • Develop customer briefings and support meetings
  • Support bid and proposal efforts involving EW, Spectrum Warfare, and cyber resilience expertise
  • Contribute to customer engagement and business development efforts to expand EW support to Air Force and other DoD customers.
  • Educate and influence stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams on effective solutions and best practices
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
  • Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Master’s degree
  • 15 years of operational EW/Spectrum Warfare experience
  • Demonstrated experience planning Electronic Warfare support and Spectrum Warfare management
  • Experience with assessing the performance of electronic protection (EP) and electronic attack (EA) systems against dense, contested electromagnetic environments and modern integrated air defense systems
  • Demonstrated experience planning, executing, and independently evaluating laboratory, open-air range, and hardware-in-the-loop (HITL) electronic warfare testing against advanced threat replicas
  • Experience with developing, analyzing, and/or testing Joint EW/EA/EP and security architecture
  • Working knowledge of critical technology protection
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic, complex, and deadline-intensive environment
  • Excellent writing and oral communication skills
  • Innovative with driven work ethic
  • Graduate of the USAF Weapons School (Weapons Instructor Course - WIC) with a specialization in Electronic Warfare, Combat Systems, or relevant 5th/6th-generation platforms
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
