Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Technician III (Electrical Assembly 1st Shift) to join the manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting complex electrical subassemblies with minimal supervision while supporting quality and safety goals.

Ideal candidates have 4–7+ years in electrical assembly, strong reading of schematics, and experience with test equipment.

Qualifications

Strong ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Proficiency with electrical tools and test equipment.
Knowledge of wiring standards, connectors, crimping, soldering, and cable assemblies.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced electrical assembly, wiring, and integration of components, harnesses, panels, and systems.
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and BOMs.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues in assemblies and systems.
Conduct electrical testing using multimeters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic tools.
Validate assemblies meet specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
Train and mentor junior technicians (Level 1 and Level 2).
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
