Job summary

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible cardiologist with advanced expertise in echocardiography and structural heart imaging. This position combines 0.5 FTE in cardiovascular imaging with 0.5 FTE in non-invasive general cardiology.

The successful candidate will interpret echocardiograms, perform 3D imaging, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage structural heart disease while contributing to teaching and academic activities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease.
• Advanced training in echocardiography and structural imaging.
• Eligible for NY license before start date.
• Academic appointment commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Perform 3D echocardiography and advanced imaging.
• Support evaluation and management of structural heart disease.
• Collaborate with interventional teams during procedures.
• Contribute to education of fellows and staff.
