Advance Auto Parts in Locust Grove, GA is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services, parts lookup and customer assistance. The role requires strong automotive parts knowledge and the ability to guide DIY customers through battery, wiper installations and diagnostics.

The position emphasizes selling, inventory accuracy, and maintaining store standards while coordinating with team members. Valid driver's license and ASE is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Ability to read safety rules, parts catalogs and manuals; write simple correspondence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls.
• Achieve personal / store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance standards.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including truck put away, cycle counts, back stock.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot.
• Provide DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
