Job summary

UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh seeks an inpatient dietitian with a focus on writing and monitoring TPN orders. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver advanced nutrition care to adult patients across diverse units.

Qualifications

• Requires RD licensure (LDN/RD) and CNSC preferred.
• Clinical nutrition expertise with TPN focus.
• Ability to mentor dietitians, interns, and students.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using Medical Nutrition Therapy to assess patients and develop goals and a plan of care.
• Formulate a Nutrition Diagnosis and identify Malnutrition using standard criteria.
• Serve as nutrition liaison/expert to units and participate in committees.
• Mentor and train dietetic students, interns, and new personnel.
• Lead annual department or system-based quality initiatives to completion.
