This is an OPEN CONTINUOUS ANNOUNCEMENT and will remain open until September 2, 2025. Qualified applicants will be considered and referred as vacancies become available. The initial cut-off date for referral of eligible applications is June 16, 2025, with subsequent cut-off dates on the 1st and 15th of each month.
Major Duties include but are not limited to:
Work Schedule: Varies based on service needs. No telework or virtual options available.
Requirements: U.S. Citizenship, certification in radiologic technology (ARRT), education from an accredited program, English proficiency, background check, and physical evaluation.
Qualifications: GS-10 level with at least one year of relevant experience, demonstrating complex modality skills, and knowledge of radiation safety, physics, and patient positioning.
Preferred Experience: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, proficiency in MRI procedures, patient communication skills, and ability to work independently.
Physical Demands: Moderate physical effort, including lifting up to 40 pounds and assisting with patient transfers.
Education: Must submit transcripts if using education to qualify. Degrees from accredited institutions only.
