Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT certification.
• Wisconsin license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates working knowledge of radiology equipment and safety practices across departments (main department, interventional radiology, surgery, ED, outpatient surgery).
• Adjusts techniques according to patient needs, including emergency situations, and consults with providers as needed.
• Provides practical instruction for students and other health care professionals.
• Performs accurate documentation in the EMR and ensures proper image management.
• Applies ALARA principles and infection prevention practices, including PPE and hand hygiene.
