Job summary

ThedaCare is seeking a Radiology Technician for the Fond du Lac area. You will perform X-ray, MRI, CT, or mammography procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain strict safety and documentation standards.

You will use proper imaging protocols, manage contrast administration, and support department tasks while adhering to ALARA and infection prevention guidelines. The role requires ARRT licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• Wisconsin License ARRT (ARRT).
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).
• One-year experience in 2+ imaging modalities with advanced MRI/CT/mammography certification within 18 months.
• High School diploma required for Oshkosh Expansion Hospital and Fond du Lac location.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional, empathetic care to patients, families, and colleagues.
• Greets patients, assists with dressing, transports, and comfort needs.
• Demonstrates equipment safety knowledge and radiology procedure competency.
• Performs radiology procedures with appropriate settings to visualize anatomy and pathology.
• Manages IV access and contrast administration per protocol.
• Completes documentation in the EMR and maintains image management.
• Collects specimens and performs laboratory-related tasks per CLIA policies.
• Maintains safety practices per ALARA and infection control guidelines.
