Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation is seeking Advanced Diagnostic Automotive Technicians for Steele Creek and Huntersville locations in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on diagnosing complex electrical and control systems, performing ADAS calibrations, and mentoring junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• Strong ability to read, interpret and trace complex electrical wiring diagrams and factory service information.
• Proven track record diagnosing all makes and models; European vehicles or Hybrid/EV systems a plus.
• ASE L1 or equivalent certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate high-level diagnostic equipment including lab scopes, multi-meters, and scan tools to pinpoint root causes.
• Perform control module reprogramming, software updates, and ADAS calibrations.
• Conduct thorough digital vehicle inspections and clearly communicate findings to the service advisor team.
• Mentor mid-level or apprentice technicians to elevate team performance.
• Collaborate with technicians to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and deliver results.
