Kroc Center Hawaii seeks a Dance Instructor III / Program Aide to lead advanced dance classes, plan lessons, and mentor students at the on-site center in Ewa Beach, HI. This part-time role requires evening/weekend availability and a commitment to the Center's mission.

Responsibilities include developing curriculum, preparing students for recitals and competitions, and collaborating with staff to ensure high-quality program delivery and participant experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of dance/theatre/performing arts teaching experience.
• Ability to lead advanced classes independently.
• Proven expertise in choreography, technique, and performance prep.
• Strong classroom management and mentorship skills.
• Experience designing curriculum and lesson plans.
• Ability to assess student progress and tailor development strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Lead advanced and specialized dance classes with full classroom responsibility.
• Design and refine curriculum and lesson plans aligned to program goals.
• Demonstrate advanced techniques and choreograph for performances.
• Evaluate progress and provide detailed feedback to drive skill development.
• Choreograph and prepare students for performances and events.
• Foster an engaging, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
• Build relationships with students and families and handle concerns professionally.
• Oversee classroom operations, attendance, and equipment care.
• Support program planning and coordination with staff.
