Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Advanced Cryptography Specialist to advance cryptographic research and practical deployments in the Emerging Technologies Security group. The role combines deep theory with hands-on engineering for secure financial services.

You will work with cryptographers and security engineers to solve complex problems and deploy cryptography-based solutions across the enterprise, including sensitive customer and enterprise data environments.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Cryptography with significant research in MPC, PQC or ZKPs.
• Minimum 5 years applying advanced cryptographic techniques in finance or similar sector.
• Proficiency in cryptographic protocol design, analysis and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Research and lead the analysis and use of cryptographic protocols focusing on MPC, PQC and ZKPs.
• Architect and implement cryptographic solutions for privacy and confidentiality.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and compliance teams to integrate cryptography into financial products.
• Assess and enhance security of cryptographic protocols ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Mentor junior cryptographers and engineers in advanced cryptography concepts.
