Re:Build Manufacturing in New Kensington, PA is seeking an Advanced Composites Assembly Technician to transform fibers and resins into flight‑worthy structures. You will prepare molds, lay up composites per drawings, and support curing processes in a safety‑minded environment.

Work closely with engineers and quality inspectors, using hand and power tools, measuring devices, and vacuum bagging to achieve precise tolerances while staying organized and compliant with PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Experience with composite materials, resins, and adhesives.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices.
• Keen attention to detail and dexterity with small components.
• Ability to work in PPE‑required environments.
• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare molds, tools, and workstations; perform composite layup per drawings and specifications.
• Complete secondary bonding operations using epoxies and resins.
• Set up and execute vacuum bagging to ensure proper consolidation and cure.
• Trim and cut parts to exact tolerances that align with development/engineering goals.
• Drill and finish holes using hand drills and related equipment to drawing requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, and teammates to improve processes and quality.
