Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc., within Spirit Defense, is seeking personnel to build composite structure details and assemblies using carbon and other composites. You will follow drawings, process specifications and quality requirements to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality parts.

Role requires hands-on work with wet layup/graphite materials, hand tools, and working in confined spaces. Union-represented site offering a robust total rewards program; eligibility for U.S.

Qualifications

• Composite experience, including working with carbon/other composites.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work any shift, including 2nd shift as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Build composite structure details and assemblies using carbon and other composites.
• Follow drawings, process specs, quality controls to ensure timely, quality delivery.
• Operate multiple machines as required and maintain a clean working area.
• Work on platforms up to ten feet high and in confined spaces, above head level.
• Use hand tools, scissors, knives, markers and small tools as needed.
• Maintain safety, confidentiality and security requirements as a U.S. citizen.
