Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Process Operator / CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment across multiple operations, including 5-axis mills, laser drilling, and bonding. The role demands precise interpretation of drawings, adherence to QA, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of CNC experience, with proficiency in reading blueprints, metrology, and shop math. A forklift/crane license or ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in CNC operations, machining, laser applications or coatings.
• Experience reading detailed drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Fork truck/crane license or ability to obtain it on selection.

• Set up and operate CNC machinery across multiple operations.

• Load/unload parts using material handling equipment; assist crane operator.

Siemens Energy will assist in scheduling the test upon shortlisting.Skills:Proficient in CNC operation, loading/unloading workpieces, adhering to QA protocols, performing complex metrology, and interpreting complex drawings; strong shop math skills.Ability to wear a respirator and pass a Process Operator Competency Test.·Successful applicants must be able to pass standard hearing, vision, and pulmonary function tests as required to perform the duties.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
