Job summary

RadNet, Inc. is seeking an experienced machinist in Springfield, MA to operate CNC machines performing setup, fabrication, and advanced production tasks for precision components.

You will support 6–10 CNC machines, document logs, and work with QC to ensure quality while maintaining safety and on-time schedules. The role requires familiarity with multiple CNC controls, strong math and SPC skills, and reliable English communication.

Qualifications

• High School/GED preferred.
• Associate's degree and/or equivalent experience in related discipline preferred.
• 1–3 years related experience preferred (CNC certification often requires apprenticeship or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform general/intermediate machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Verify settings and adjust CNC accordingly.
• Maintain safe operations by following procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment via preventive maintenance tasks.
• Assist loader/unloader as needed.
• Operate 6–10 CNC machines within production schedules.
• Document production and quality actions in logs.
• Collaborate with floor supervisors and team leaders to limit waste and reworks.
• Work with Quality Control to ensure high-quality products.
• Maintain regular attendance per policy.
