Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to develop and optimize CMM programs and fixtures across multiple sites in Minnesota. You will analyze drawings, perform FAI and capability studies, and support NPD/ECR activities with GD&T expertise.

The role requires 3–5 years of Zeiss Calypso programming experience, strong metrology skills, and the ability to travel between sites to provide hands-on support and training. Competitive hourly pay and ESOP benefits offered.

Qualifications

3–5 years of Zeiss Calypso programming experience.
Advanced GD&T training preferred.
ASQ Mechanical Inspector certification preferred.
CNC machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop CMM programs per ASME Y14.5 for FAI, capability studies, and in-process inspections across sites.
Design CMM fixtures and source fixture build for all sites.
Provide technical support for CMM programs, equipment, and software.
Schedule annual CMM calibrations at all sites.
Travel to all sites to provide technical support as needed.
Perform daily CMM in-process inspections to support production.
Prepare First Article Inspection Reports for Quality Engineering and Production.
