Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) to join our Lyndale Edmond community. You will administer medications and record accurately under a nurse's supervision, while prioritizing resident dignity and independence.

Qualifications

  • Must be certified as an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) and meet Oklahoma's certification requirements.
  • Prefer 2 years' experience managing medication for seniors.
  • Good understanding of medical terminology and pharmacology terminology.
  • Must be proficient with computers, especially EMAR.
  • First Aid certification as required by state requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and record administration of medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Obtain and report resident vital signs.
  • Manage medication supply and inventory.
  • Provide personal care and assist residents with daily living activities.
  • Monitor resident condition and report changes to nursing staff.
  • Assist in dining, mobility, and transportation as needed.
  • Observe rounds for hazards or incidents.
