Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) to help residents with daily living activities and coordinate medication administration. This full-time role is based in Edmond, OK, and includes benefits supporting employees’ financial, physical and mental well-being.

The ACMA will assist with medications, daily care, and documentation, while adhering to company policies. Evening/weekend work may be required per staffing needs.

Qualifications

• ACMA certification required by state regulations.
• Experience in assisting with activities of daily living is expected.

Responsibilities

• Aid with medications for assigned residents.
• Assist daily living activities including personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond as needed.
• Document shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs to Health Care Director.
• Follow policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for an Advanced Certified Medication Aide (ACMA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
