Job summary

Atria Health Institute seeks a licensed NP/PA to provide high-quality care in patients' homes in the New York area. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver urgent and preventive care, including minor procedures and well-child visits.

The role requires at least 2 years of NP/PA practice, relevant certifications, and a reliable vehicle for home visits. Join a fast-paced, expanding team focused on preventive, precision-based medicine.

Qualifications

• Current NP/PA license in New York
• 2+ years’ experience practicing as NP or PA
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association
• Capable with urgent care and emergency medicine procedures
• Reliable vehicle for home visits

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional care to members in their homes in collaboration with Atria physicians
• Deliver urgent home care services and preventive care (vaccinations, phlebotomy, IV infusions, well-child visits)
• Collaborate with home services clinicians (pediatrics, emergency medicine, RNs, medical assistants)
• Work across Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care; perform blood draws and IV insertions
• Maintain medical records and participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Conduct telehealth visits and electronic prescribing as needed

All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, 24/7 home visits, and imaging is included in members’ annual fee.

After successfully opening our flagship Institute in New York in 2022 and expanding to South Florida in 2024, we are now bringing the Atria experience to the West Coast with the launch of our Los Angeles Institute in late spring 2026.

Essential Job Duties:

• Partner with Atria physicians to provide exceptional care to our members in the comfort of their homes.
• Works collaboratively with physicians to provide urgent home care services (e.g.minor procedures, wound care, sick visits) and preventive care services (e.g vaccinations, phlebotomy, IV infusion, assisting in well child visits).
• Collaborates with other home services clinicians including pediatricians, emergency medicine physicians, RNs and medical assistants.
• NPs & PAs must have the ability to work fluidly and competently across multiple disciplines, including Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Urgent Care.
• Preferred have urgent care/emergency medicine, primary care or family medicine experience, comfortable treating both pediatric and adult populations.
• Demonstrates adaptability in training and competency across a range of point-of-care testing modalities and devices, including strep, COVID, flu, and RSV, point of care CBC and urinalysis. Assist with laboratory processing when needed.
• Flexibility to perform clinical, administrative and clerical tasks when needed.Must be proficient in blood draws and IV insertion
• Assists in maintaining medical supply inventory out of the home services center, including ordering and restocking necessary supplies for patient visits in collaboration with operations manager.
• Documentation and appropriate maintenance of Medical Records for members
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives
• Telehealth visits & Electronic prescribing of medications as needed

• Maintenance & upkeep of Professional Licenses, Certifications, DEA certification, State requirements and National Certifying Agencies credentials
• Participates in appropriate continuing medical education programs for maintenance of Continued Medical Education and CUEs for professional licensure

Compensation: $160,000 - $190,000

• Current License required as NP/PA
• 2+ years’ experience as practicing NP or PA
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certification from American Heart Association
• Capable and experienced with relevant procedures for proficiency in delivering care in urgent care and emergency medicine setting
• Thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment
• A reliable vehicle is required for conducting home visits.
