Job description

Elders Inn is currently seeking Advanced Care Attendants (ACAs)

Pay Rate: $21.50-$23.50 per hour (shift-based)

We are expanding our team and looking for dedicated individuals!

The primary functions of an ACA are:

• Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and daily living tasks
• Support residents with mobility and transfers
• Record and monitor vital signs
• Assist with active and passive range of motion exercises as per care plans
• Respond promptly to resident needs, respecting privacy and dignity
• Monitor activity and functional status of residents
• Help keep apartments tidy to ensure safety and comfort

We are hiring for full-time, part-time, and on-call roles:

• AM shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
• PM shift: 2:30pm - 11:00pm
• NOC shift: 10:30pm - 7:00am

Full-time positions follow a 4-on, 2-off rotation

The minimum qualifications are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA level training (no license required) OR 3 years of experience in a heavy care environment
• Patience working with cognitively impaired individuals
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Basic computer skills (care programming is computer-based)
• Ability to lift up to 150 pounds

Employment requirements include:

• Current COVID-19 vaccination
• Routine COVID testing
• Physical examination
• TB test
• Fingerprint clearance from FBI and Department of Justice
