Job summary
The University of Miami invites applications for an Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging physician to join the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. This role provides expert clinical care for patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
The incumbent will participate in teaching medical students and residents, and contribute to research in cardiovascular imaging.
Qualifications
- Board-certified in Cardiology or MD/DO with cardiology certification.
- Active medical license to practice in Florida.
- Experience in cardiovascular imaging and clinical care.
- Proficient in interpreting echocardiograms, CT, MRI, and nuclear studies.
- Strong leadership and teaching capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional clinical care and consultative services to patients with diverse cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in academic and educational initiatives, including teaching medical students and conducting research.
- Mentor trainees, fellows, and junior faculty, while inspiring innovation in cardiovascular education.
- Maintains confidentiality of all patient information and adheres to policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
