Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer 2 for PRN coverage. You will perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography for adults, preparing equipment and patients, reviewing images, and reporting findings as part of a busy Echocardiography Lab.

The role requires 1 year of cardiac sono experience and RDCS or RCS certification; orientation runs 4 weeks with daytime hours, and weekend coverage is possible to support operations.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year cardiac sono experience.
• Certification: RDCS or RCS required or to be obtained at hire.
• Education: Accredited program graduate or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound including transthoracic and transesophageal studies.
• Prepare patients, obtain history, and explain procedures.
• Review images, report findings, and ensure quality of studies.
• Assist in procedures and maintain equipment in the Echocardiography Lab.
• Support QA processes and adherence to standards.
