Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Socorro, NM is seeking an Echo Tech to join our cardiac imaging team. You will perform comprehensive 2D/3D echocardiography studies, evaluate heart structure and function, and support a team-focused lab under experienced supervision.

We offer a strong mentorship culture, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and $6,000 relocation assistance for qualifying candidates. ARDMS/RDCS (AE) or CCI (RCS) credentials and NM licensure within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• Level I/II/III Cardiac Sonographer credentials or eligibility (ARDMS/RDCS or CCI).
• New Mexico State Licensure required or must obtain within 90 days of hire.
• Two-year Allied Health Training or Bachelor's in a health science related field.
• Experience in inpatient/outpatient cardiac ultrasound preferred.

Responsibilities

• Echocardiography imaging: perform diagnostic 2D/3D and color imaging to assess heart structure and function.
• Ensure patient-centered care and explain procedures, monitor patient condition and notify physicians of critical findings.
• Prepare preliminary echo reports with relevant measurements.
• Participate in weeknight and weekend on-call with call pay; manage home call expectations.
• Collaborate with sonographers and physicians to optimize patient flow and imaging quality.
