Qualifications

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) credentialed by ARDMS.
• RCS or RCCS credential from CCI is required or certification.
• CRCS (Sonography Canada) credential is required.
• ACS (CCI) credential is required.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs 2-D, M-mode, color flow mapping and cardiac Doppler echocardiography tests on adult and geriatric patients.
• Maintains performance improvement documentation in cardiac and ultrasound per IAC standards.
