Job summary

Lee Health’s Analytics Center of Excellence is seeking an Epic Advanced BI Developer to build reports and dashboards from Epic and other systems. You will apply SQL and data modeling to deliver insights that support leaders in improving care delivery and operational performance.

You will collaborate with business and IT teams to manage projects, present findings, and ensure data accuracy for high-stakes decisions. This role emphasizes Epic data structures expertise and BI tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of healthcare IT, analytics, software development or data management using Agile & Scrum.
• 5+ years of experience developing and managing reports and dashboards for analytic projects.
• 4+ years of experience with BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau) and advanced data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations from Epic, Infor, and other enterprise systems.
• Apply advanced analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights that improve operational performance.
• Serve as SME in Epic data structures and BI development.
• Manage project timelines, data integrity, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with business and IT leaders to translate analytic needs into actionable solutions.

Summary

Were looking for a talented Epic Advanced Business Intelligence Developer to support analytics and performance measurements across our Community Based Care business area. In this role, youll use your expertise in Epic Clarity/Caboodle Data Models, SQL programming, and BI Tools to develop and deliver impactful reports, dashboards, and visualizations that empower leaders to make informed decisions.

Youll collaborate with both business and IT teams to solve high-priority analytic challenges, prepare and present findings to stakeholders, and independently manage projects that ensure high-quality, accurate, and actionable data.

What Youll Do

• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations from Epic, Infor, and other enterprise systems
• Apply advanced analytics to identify trends, patterns, and insights that improve operational performance
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Epic data structures and business intelligence development
• Manage project timelines, data integrity, and stakeholder communications
• Partner with business and IT leaders to translate analytic needs into actionable solutions

Requirements

Education

• Bachelors degree from an accredited University or College in IT or related field, such as Engineering or Business Administration required
• Masters degree in Data Science or Advanced Analytics preferred

Required Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in healthcare IT, analytics, software development or data management utilizing project management and analytic process methodologies (e.g. Agile & Scrum)
• 5+ years of experience developing and managing reports and dashboards for analytic projects
• 4+ years of experience with BI tools (Qlik Sense, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Advanced data modeling experience
• Strong understanding of relational databases with experience using SQL query techniques
• Demonstrated experience in project management and experience working with external vendors

Preferred Experience

• Certification in at least one Epic Data Models and hands-on experience
• Familiarity with Epic Cogito Tools (Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer)
• 5+ years of experience using Qlik Sense / Power BI / Tableau or other BI Visualization tool
• 7+ years of experience in enterprise databases and analytic reporting
• Experience with clinical/business analytics reporting and dashboards
• Knowledge of current healthcare environments
