Job summary

Empire Automotive Group is seeking a certified Automotive Technician with dealership experience to join our Subaru of Huntington service team. You will perform repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Daily duties include test drives, using diagnostic tools, and communicating with Service Advisors about estimates and timelines. A clean driving record and ability to learn new procedures are required; equal opportunity

Qualifications

Technician experience at an automotive dealership is required.
Strong understanding of the service drive.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Dexterity with steady hand and hand-eye coordination.
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Basic computer competencies.
Willing to submit to drug screen and background check.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Team player with ability to collaborate.
Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
Valid driver''s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Performs work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
Test-drives vehicles and tests components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
Diagnoses, maintains, and repairs vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Communicates directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed and provides an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Executes repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
