- Hands-on AI Implementation: Integrating LLM workflows to parse vulnerability outputs, handle prompt deployment for code changes, and automate patch PR generation.
- Programming: Strong, fluent Python development for building utility scanners, automating API calls, and writing orchestration scripts; Bash scripting for CI/CD pipelines.
- Source & Artifact Systems: Hands-on integration with GitHub (Actions, Advanced Security, PR workflows) and JFrog Artifactory/Xray across diverse repositories.
- Scanning & Triage Tools: Deep familiarity running and configuring Snyk, Xray, CodeQL, Dependabot, Trivy, or Semgrep; practical understanding of CVE/CVSS scoring and EOL data (e.g., endoflife.date).
- CI/CD & Containerization: Building and maintaining pipelines in GitHub Actions or Jenkins; utilizing Docker to spin up isolated environments for patch validation; scheduling via cron or Airflow.
- Data & Analytics: Structuring raw security findings (JSON/SQL) into data pipelines to power operational dashboards and compliance tracking.
Experience & Requirements
- Total Experience: 5 to 8 years of software engineering or automation experience.
- Domain Focus: At least 3 years of demonstrated hands-on delivery using Python, GitHub, Artifactory/Xray, CI/CD, vulnerability scanning, testing, and security dashboard technologies.
- Implement, maintain, and run the agentic workflows that interpret security scans, generate patch PRs, and test code fixes.
- Finetune and test prompts for code-editing agents to minimize code regression and ensure accurate patches.
- Configure and maintain isolated test environments using Docker to safely execute auto-generated patches.
Tooling Configuration & Vulnerability Tracking
- Manage daily integrations and run scans using Snyk, Xray, CodeQL, Dependabot, Trivy, or Semgrep across multiple language repositories.
- Parse CVE data and track EOL-detection sources to prioritize outstanding high-risk liabilities.
- Build and maintain clean JSON/SQL data pipelines to keep monitoring and coverage dashboards accurate and up to date.
Operational Support & Communication
- Draft clear, actionable status updates detailing exact scan coverage and outstanding critical items across teams.
- Provide clean metrics around Mean Time to Remediation (MTTR) and fix-rate trends for team leads.
- Collaborate closely with QA and application teams to validate that automated regression testing is running cleanly before any auto-merging happens.
