Job summary

Preston Mazda seeks a skilled B Tech Service and Repair Technician to join our service department. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles, ensuring quality and safety.

The role requires collaboration with technicians, advisors, and customers, with a focus on ongoing training and professional growth. Applicants should have a minimum of three years in automotive repair, ASE certification is a plus, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting.
• ASE Certification is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle systems and perform repairs following dealership standards.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections.
• Inspect work for quality and safety before returning vehicles to customers.
• Maintain detailed service records, noting parts used and work performed.
• Collaborate with service team and communicate with advisors and customers.
• Pursue ongoing training to stay current with automotive technologies.
