Novant Health in Wilmington, NC seeks a Certified Anesthesia Technologist to support physicians and CRNAs across cardiac, ortho, neuro and trauma procedures. You will prepare supplies, administer medications under order, monitor patient vitals, and help with sterile technique and regional anesthesia, under supervision.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, an associate degree preferred, and at least one year of anesthesia experience, with certification and BCLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 Year/Associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in Anesthesia.
• Certified Anesthesia Technologist, BCLS and PALS required; EMT preferred.
• Ability to complete department skills validation and competency testing.

Responsabilités

• Assists anesthesia providers using aseptic technique with invasive and non-invasive procedures, including venous/arterial access and airway management.
• Operates monitoring equipment and maintains continuous vital sign surveillance.
• Prepares and handles blood products and medications; assists with pre-transfusion checks.
• Loads IV pumps, administers medications under order, and ensures sterile field integrity.
• Trains staff and serves as Epic Super User and troubleshooter for the department.
• Demonstrates ownership and teamwork to support patient satisfaction.
