You Are
As an Advanced AI Research Scientist Associate Director, you will formulate real-world problems into practical, efficient, and scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions.
- You lead teams and provide guidance to explore and implement new methodologies, model building techniques, and cutting-edge algorithms, applying these techniques with the right architecture to solve real-world problems.
- You have a deep understanding of and ability to stay at the forefront of generative AI, LLM, and multi-modal models, focusing on driving innovation by applying these techniques to new business problems, use cases, and scenarios.
- As needed, you train and/or fine-tune generative AI models and evaluate their performance on specific problems.
- You justify the value of innovative generative AI or traditional Machine Learning approaches in business problems and construct methodologies that clearly demonstrate their value.
- You set strategic research priorities for short-term and long-term workstreams and collaborate with teams and leaders from both business and technical sides to achieve project goals.
The Work
- Participate in discussions to gather business use case requirements, providing AI expertise and solution options.
- Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML models, especially LLM and other Gen AI models, from scratch or using foundation models via self-supervised learning, transfer learning, and fine-tuning.
- Develop sophisticated Gen AI applications, including generative agents and architectures supporting multiple models for complex tasks.
- Lead technical teams and foster AI expertise within the broader team, including offshore members.
- Work collaboratively across functions to identify and prioritize requirements, ensuring solutions meet stakeholder needs.
- Develop and execute project plans, including timelines and infrastructure dependencies.
- Define and implement value justification approaches, estimate costs, and calculate ROI.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation to facilitate understanding, knowledge transfer, and future development.
- Collaborate with academia to stay on the cutting edge of AI, providing leadership on trends, use cases, opportunities, and risks.
Travel may be required, varying from 0 to 100% based on business needs.
