Job summary

Global Medical Response in Tennessee is seeking a dedicated Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) for a full-time role. You will respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, deliver high-quality care and customer service to patients, and operate with professionalism in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, determining required care, documenting conditions, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with other health and safety teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State AEMT License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, NREMT-A certification.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

• AEMTs provide patient assessment, determine needed care and deliver emergency services.
• Document patient information and treatment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients.
• Use AEMT skills to provide care with communications and equipment.
• Operate an ambulance in compliance with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health, public safety personnel and fellow AEMTs.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and relations.
