Job summary

PowerSchool is seeking a Teacher/Professional - Secondary to serve as Advanced Academics Campus Coordinator. The role partners with teachers and school staff to create systems supporting AP, Pre-AP, OnRamps and college readiness programs.

You will organize campus testing, coach Advanced Academics teachers, coordinate across campuses, and engage families and communities to promote college-going culture.

Qualifications

• Texas Teacher's Certification or Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of three years' teaching advanced academic level courses.
• Knowledge of strategies and materials for secondary and post-secondary programs.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, administrators, counselors, parents, and community.
• Ability to organize and coordinate programs across campuses.

Responsibilities

• Analyze instructional program data and college-going measures to guide campus goals.
• Assist campus leaders with planning of campus college testing (PSAT, SAT, ACT).
• Manage AP and IB campus testing.
• Coach Advanced Academics teachers using performance data from assessments.
• Orchestrate vertical alignment between Advanced and AP/IB teachers within disciplines.
• Promote advanced academic programs and college-going culture to students and families.
• Collaborate with feeder schools and local PLCs to strengthen programs.
