Job summary

Prismhr Hire seeks an Advance Practice Registered Nurse to join a Miami clinic at 33 NE 4th Street. The role requires Florida licensure, BLS/CPR, and the ability to provide comprehensive diagnostic and preventive care.

Schedule is 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, with potential for emergency coverage. Competitive hourly pay with vacation and benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Florida.
• Must hold a current, active, unencumbered Florida license.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services.
• Take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret labs and X-rays.
• Diagnose, plan treatment, and prescribe medications.
• Manage injuries (suturing, splinting, immobilizing) and attend emergencies.
• Record progress notes and coordinate outside consultations as needed.
• Emergency consultations and minor surgery with local anesthesia.
• Collaborate with staff and consulting physicians to plan and revise programs.
• Assist in determining conditions, resources and policies for delivery of care.
• Manage daily clinic operations and conduct daily sick calls.
• Provide emergency services when physician is unavailable.

Job description

NEEDED: Advance Practice Registered Nurse

LOCATION: 33 NE 4th Street, Miami, Florida 33132

SCHEDULE: 8 HOURS PER DAY, 5 DAYS PER WEEK, EXCLUDING Federal Holidays, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, not to exceed 40 hours per week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be certified to practice medicine in the State of Florida.
• Must provide proof of current, active, unincumbered license to practice in the State of Florida.
• Must hold a current BLS/CPR Certification

JOB DUTIES:

• Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services
• Take medical histories, examine patients, order and interpret laboratory tests and x-rays
• Make a diagnosis, provide treatment plans and prescribe medications
• Clinically manage injuries by suturing, splinting, and immobilizing
• Attend to medical emergencies
• Record progress notes, recommend clinically necessary outside consultation, instruct and counsel, and order or carry out therapy
• Emergency consultation to be performed by the contractor in instances where deemed necessary. Perform minor surgery utilizing local anesthesia during consultation visits
• Work collaboratively with the staff physician(s) and consulting physician(s) in planning, instituting, evaluating and revising program plans
• Assist in determining conditions, resources and policies essential to delivery of the health care services
• Discriminates between normal and abnormal findings to recognize early stages of serious physical, emotional, or mental problems
• Manages the daily operation of the clinic and conducts daily sick calls; which may include securing health histories from the patient, recording findings and providing clinical evaluations
• Provides a wide range of emergency services, in the absence of the physician
