Job description

Position Overview

Academic Gastroenterologist for Advanced Endoscopy – Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. Practice in Morgantown, WV and/or Wheeling, WV. Responsibilities include patient care, teaching, and research (for senior ranks).

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced endoscopic care in gastroenterology.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Maintain a clinically relevant practice and research program (for Associate/Professor ranks).
• Contribute to department service line and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent, eligible for West Virginia medical license.
• Completed accredited internal medicine residency, gastroenterology fellowship, and advanced endoscopy fellowship.
• For Associate Professor or Professor rank: proven leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high‑impact journals.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Schedule

40 hours per week.

Location

1 Medical Center Drive, Morgantown, West Virginia. Also Wheeling, West Virginia.
