Qualifications

• Degree or coursework leading to a degree in art or art education, or equivalent experience in teaching art
• Two years experience developing age appropriate curriculum for adults
• Two years experience teaching visual arts to adults in a classroom or workshop setting
• Available to work evenings and/or weekend

Responsibilities

• Develop six-week classes and/or workshops that advance the goals of the Edina Art Center as an organization that meets community needs
• Demonstrate the ability to teach teen and adult learners
• Demonstrate techniques and artistic skills to successfully teach classes
• Work as a part of a team of instructors and staff to support the arts in Edina and surrounding communities
