Job summary

A leading art supply company is seeking a part-time Watercolor, Acrylic Painting and/or Drawing Instructor in Minnetonka, MN. The role involves teaching art classes at the Michaels store, where instructors can leverage their skills without needing a private studio. Instructors must be able to paint realistically, teach effectively, and are encouraged to market their own classes. Competitive compensation is provided per student attendance, and certification through Grumbacher is necessary for teaching.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching art classes preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with students.

Responsibilities

• Teach art classes at the Michaels store in Minnetonka, MN.
• Prepare students to leave with a finished painting or drawing.
• Coordinate schedules with Michaels store management.
