Thrive Behavioral Health, a nationally recognized Community Mental Health Center headquartered in Warwick, RI, seeks an Adult Psychiatrist (Board Certified/Eligible) to join our Psychiatric Service Team. Responsibilities include comprehensive evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with integrated primary care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five (5) years' experience working with an SPMI population preferred.
• Significant experience in treating substance use disorders preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prescribe and monitor appropriate medication/psychiatric treatments to Thrive clientele in keeping with Thrive's policies and procedures.
• Provide comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and treatment of clients.
• Act as a member of Thrive treatment teams and serve as consultant on medical/psychiatric issues.
• Collaborate with integrated primary care practice and Thrive committees as assigned.
• Develop positive working relationships with other medical service providers in the community.
• Mentor, educate and support Thrive staff on program and service issues.
