Services are coordinated and funded through Indiana’s network of Area Agencies on Aging and include the state-funded CHOICE program (Community and Home Options to Institutional Care for the Elderly and Disabled) and administration of two Medicaid waiver programs providing home- and community-based services for older adults and individuals of all ages with physical impairments; additionally, we support the development of alternatives to nursing home care and coordinates services through the statewide INconnect Alliance network.
Role Overview:
This role, Adult Protective & Guardianship Assistant Manager, supports the statewide administration and day to day operations of Indiana's Adult Protective and Adult Guardianship Services programs. This role works closely with the APS/AGS Services Manager to support program operations, stakeholder and vendor coordination, policy and procedure implementation, performance monitoring, and continuous program improvement.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong stakeholder relationship and communication skills, organization and follow through, and independent problem-solving ability. They should be comfortable working across multiple priorities, researching and resolving program issues, developing and implementing operational processes and tools, and collaborating with internal and external partners to support effective program delivery.

This position is exempt from overtime compensation for additional work hours which may be required to complete essential functions or other assigned work.
