Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) is committed to transforming healthcare by expanding our collaborative primary care team. We are seeking a 0.6 - 1.0 FTE internal medicine physician at our regional medical center in Edmonds, Washington. Join an innovative multidisciplinary team that values work/life balance, teamwork, and patient-centered care. The position offers full-time (approximately 36 clinical hours) or part-time options.

  1. Integrative primary care model: Collaborate with embedded pharmacists, social workers, and psychiatry providers to deliver coordinated, focused care that results in excellent health outcomes. Social workers assist with social, emotional, behavioral, and environmental needs.
  2. Flexible scheduling: We work with you to develop a schedule that meets your individual needs.
  3. Access to specialty services: Referral options to over 30 medical specialties within VMFH with responsive results.
  4. Teaching opportunities: Precept medical students and residents in a supportive environment, ideal for providers new to practice.
  5. Learning and mentorship: A teaching culture with formal mentorship programs to support long-term success.
  6. Innovation: Promote best practices and continuous improvement using the Virginia Mason Production System, aiming to be a healthcare quality leader.
