Job summary

Swope Health is seeking an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric assessments and medication management for individuals with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. You will work within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement person-centered treatment plans.

Requirements include MSN, Missouri licensure, PMHNP certification, ACLS, and 2 years of relevant experience. Strong EMR/EHR skills preferred; on-site position with comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing and Missouri PA/NP licensure with PMHNP certification.
• Two years of hospital or community-based psychiatric experience preferred.
• ACLS certification and capable of independent clinical judgment.
• Experience with electronic health records and team-based care.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations including mental status and risk assessment.
• Provide medication management for psychiatric and co-occurring conditions.
• Develop and adjust person-centered treatment plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document all services within 24 hours and coordinate follow-up referrals.
• Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests as needed.
• Collaborate with providers to ensure adherence to guidelines and policies.
• Participate in team meetings to review patient goals and interventions.
