Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Idaho Physical Therapist License
  • BLS Certification (or completion upon hire)
  • Preferred: Driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient-centered physical therapy within established standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, treatment plans, and prescriptions.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and adjust care plans for optimal results.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Uphold organizational policies, safety standards, and confidentiality protocols.
  • Promote a positive and professional environment in alignment with The Gritman Way.
Physical Demands:
  • Lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, 20 lbs frequently.
  • Assist patients with transfers and mobility up to 24 times daily.
  • Perform fine motor skills for treatments and therapies.
  • Stand/walk up to 3 hours continuously and 8 hours daily.
  • Drive up to 90 minutes at a time and 4 hours daily.
  • Maintain balance and coordination for patient ambulation and therapies.
Environmental Considerations:
  • Work primarily in clinic/hospital settings with potential exposure to bio-hazardous materials and infectious diseases.
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor and therapy pool environments.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and infection control measures.
